Libby when their children baptised, it should give you an address for where they were living.

HarrysMum 10-06-11 11:08

Julie.....they don't have addresses unfortunately. They have Parramatta for some and Ryde for others

However, I know they had properties at Parramatta, Windosr and Emu Plains.

1828 census they are at Parramatta

1836 they owned land bounded by Pitt St, the Great Western Road, Church Street and Parramatta River.....and lived in Aird Street Parramatta.

That's quite a bit of land they owned in Parramatta - most of it is now Westfield Parramatta.

I was baptised at St Annes, a long time ago now !!

Does she have a headstone ? I am going to Willandra opposite St Annes in a couple of weeks I could go and have a look.

Di.....apparently there are no surviving markers for the graves of either Eleanor or Robert, but the head stones of children John Robert Norris Batman and Mary Jane (Jane Lee Batman) 1859 and 1858 are still standing. I haven't seen them myself. They are in St Anne's churchyard. I'd love a piccie if you have time.

Hi Libby

I will find them for you and take a pics
