It only covers the years 1800 to 1812 but there are no other Pages in those years.

Hi Kite,

Yes that must be it - I have now made a note against the baptism of the website.

The other children were born or baptised in different place - Ludford (1809) and Milson (1814), so maybe "farmer" was more like Farm Labourer !

I found some new records in the IGI (at least, I am sure I did not find them before)

Richard Page

baptised 11 Mar 1759, Clee St Margaret, Shrophshire

son of Richard Page and Mary (nee Phillpott)

other children born to Richard and Mary and baptised at Clee St Margaret -

William 1745
REUBEN 1749
Elizabeth 1751
Thomas 1761
Sarah 1763
Catherine 1766

A Richard Page married Ann WHISTON in Burrington Herefordshire on 17 Dec 1793.
They stayed there and baptised

William in 1796
Sarah in 1799
Ann in 1801
Richard in 1803
and Mary in 1806.

They could then have moved eastwards to Caynham etc

Thomas 1807 Caynham/Hope Bagot
Reuben 1809 Ludford
Harriott and John bp 1814

Looking for more information and other websites which might confirm this theory.
