Petition for release of BMD data

I have just received a lost cousins newsletter urging people to sign a petition asking for BMD certificate data to be released. They have a long way to go to get 100,000 signatures for a parliamentary debate but who knows.

I think I would prefer a 100 year cloak but I can't see any reason to keep the Victorian stuff secret.
