My Family History in Numbers
I am not normally a numbers geek, but once I started analysing my tree data I got hooked on the information that I was discovering and it became a little bit obsessive, I learnt lots of new info that I would not have discovered, if I hadn't run the analysis. So if you are a numbers fan or not, it makes interesting reading.

That makes a really interesting read, Paul. As a scientist myself, statistics have always been a part of my life. A really different way to view your family lines.
I agree FTM is somewhat limited or at least it is cumbersome to obtain that sort of info. Sometimes I wish I had moved to MyHeritage years ago for various other reasons. If I could move my gedcom together with photos and a few thousand documents all in one go I would do that today! |
Thank you and glad that you enjoyed it, my heritage will take a gedcom import but sadly that’s all, everything else would have to be uploaded, a mammoth task

That's interesting. I would never have thought to look at birth months for example or to check on the most common christian name, rather than just assuming. I have FTM I might try to reports like that when I have time to pull the data.

Thanks Kit let me know how you get on
