Is it possible to get my grandfathers war medals from the first world was if so how would I go about it.

According to the Government website, You can only apply for World War 1 medals if the original was returned.

I guess you could ask your relatives whether they have them, or if they know what happened to them?

None of my relatives have them or actually seen them

If they've never been issued then the next of kin can ask for them I believe.

You could also buy replacements if you wanted to
