George Horn

Also Horne

Details of each of his or her marriages - 6th Jul 1829 St Leonard Shoreditch, Middlesex to Sarah Elizabeth Hays. By banns and of the parish. The witnesses are of the bride's family.

Occupation - labourer 1829; blockmaker 1851 (daughter's marriage cert)

Addresses - Jul 1829 Shoreditch, London; Dec 1829 St Georges in the East, London

I have George's wife and daughter separately in 1851 and his wife is recorded as married but she remarries in 1854.

I only know of one child - Elizabeth Ann born 1829 St Georges in the East - http://www.genealogistsforum.co.uk/f...highlight=horn

Can you post up the details of Sarah from the 1851 census, please, so we can look for them in 1841?

Sarah seems to have gone as Elizabeth -

1851 - HO107; Piece: 1535; Folio: 662; Page: 41

1861 - RG9; Piece: 280; Folio: 125; Page: 15

I've often wondered about this one in 1841 - HO107; Piece 713; Folio: 41; Page: 9
