William Pope, sailor, and Mary Rogers 12 Sep 1761 at St Columb Minor William Pope of St Wenn (sojourner) and Mary Johns of St Wenn 27 Apr 1761 at Withiel, witnesses Francis Parkings and Zacharias Johns.

A William Pope was buried on 1st January 1801 at St Merry. Unfortunately no age is given.
https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/...414&cc=1769414 His son William had already died and been buried in 1772 at St Merryn, so it isn't him.
