Sorry Merry - I know think Beatrice was only my father's adoptive mother - I'll PM you the reasons why I think John Silas could have been my grandfather.

Oh Merry thank you - I haven't got those- I have an incoming record, Mombasa to Southampton for John and Emma in 1932 - If you found any others that would be lovely
