your right margeret,i shouldnt have inferred it. i wholeheartly apoligize to every single member in here if ive caused offense as i stated i was reacting to merry comments but thats no excuse i took it out on the members and that was unfair.

i apoligize point one i was referring to my computer having a virus
i have tried the link but as pointed out i dont know how to use it because im not computer literate wish i was

what do you see?

Click on ALL TYPES and put hairyes in the search box, where it says Surname, scroll down and click find, bottom left

if you cant manage that, genealogy isnt for you

You don't have to be "computer-literate". You just put the surname where they tell you, and the first name and press a button, and up come the results. You can select the county or the registration district too.

It's best to put a restriction on the dates too.

Couldn't you just try??

We were all there once and we had to learn. You can't expect others to do every aspect of your research. It's a very easy site to use.

It might be useful if you got your computer sorted out before you continue with your family history research.

How do you know it's got a virus?
Have you got any anti-virus software on your computer?
If yes, have you run a full scan?
If no, then the first thing you need to buy is good anti-virus software.
