Name – Henry William Moore (Harry on daughter’s marriage certificate in 1914)
Date and place of birth – 01 Oct 1849, 31 Paul St, Shoreditch, Middlesex
Names of parents – William Moore and Sarah Dow (They married in 1852)
Date and place of baptism – Not found
Details of each of his or her marriages – Esther Jones, 20 Dec 1874, St Jude, Bethnal Green
Occupation(s) – Shoemaker/boot finisher
Addresses where they lived (including county if in UK) - and please list which censuses you have or haven't found him/her on.
1851 – Half Nichol Street, Bethnal Green, Middlesex (mistranscribed as Moog)
1861 – Christopher St, Bethnal Green, Middlesex

1863 - 3 Old Nichol St, Bethnal Green (from mother's death certificate)
1871 – Not found
1881 – 46 White St, Bethnal Green, Middlesex
1891 – 3 Chester St Bethnal Green, Middlesex

this is more than likely him in 1871
living as lodger with a boot finisher and working as sewer

Hi Tinkerbe

Apologies for not seeing your post before this!

The 1871 Census is one possibility for Henry, but hard to prove these single men living in lodgings, especially with a common name like Henry Moore!

I've just checked the 1911 reference and both Harry and Walter were born "sarf" of the River and mine definitely "norf"!! So probably not mine. Thanks for taking the time to look.
