Ah, got it - his son Lewis Wm is listed as Lionel in 1881!

whoops, glad you can read my mind! just went into overdrive there, sorry for any confusion! I have deleted the erroneous info, now it looks as if you are confused! Sorry.

lol!! That's OK!!

If you are desperate for his death cert then I would suggest contacting Eton (for Iver) and Uxbridge (for Hillingdon) register offices and ask them to look - as you have the burial date hopefully this won't be too difficult. I suppose he's most likely to have died at home, so perhaps try Eton first?
