The IGI says Robert and Henrietta married in Tonbridge (2 entries and one with Thomas as husband) which is not the same as Tunbridge Wells. All LDS submitted entries.

The only records for Henrietta's baptism as LDS member submitted ones.

There is a site for Kent parishes, which while not complete or comprehensive, might lead you somewhere. I think you can request a lookup. Some of my OH's WOODHAMS ancestors seem to be from Bidborough !!

The name is definitely Robert on his shipping, his children's baptisms in Aus and on his death cert. He is also named in "Squatter's Castle" as an employee of Edward Ogilvie.

Di that is brilliant I wondered if it was Tonbridge, as I didn't think they moved to Tunbridge Wells for a number of years after they were married. I think their children could have been baptised at TW when he had a greengrocer's shop in Grove Rd.

England & Wales Marriages, 1538-1940
about Henrietta Driver

This one has Thomas. Tonbridge, Kent 26th Oct 1826.....

That would be odd if there were two on the same day.....

Does Ancestry copy Family Search??

OK, so the IGI has Thomas and Mr Pallot read it as Robert, so that would need to be checked. As marquette said, Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells are not the same place!

I would worry that someone has just 'found a marriage' if the book was writen post internet records, but I would be interested to know how they knew where to look for the baptism.

How come the baronet has the same surname as the sawyer? That seems very odd!!
