His son John Annis jr was born about 1816 and baptised 18 Jan 1818 in Norfolk, according to FamilySearch, but it doesn't say which parish or church. John jr died in 1825 so I can't get his birthplace from a census. Update - baptism was at Burnham Deepdale, abode Brancaster Staith. And father's occupation is mariner.

Also the John Annis burials in Burnham Norton in 1847 and 1849 are Robert Annis's infant sons.

Finally found his burial on FMP (they have added new Norfolk records in the last year or so) - Burnham Deepdale, 24 Nov 1821, John Annis of Brancaster Staith, age 35.
