You also have to look at Ballantine or Ballantyne name variants.

I have Valentines in OH's tree but from Forfarshire.

on geneanet Margaret Valentine birth states
Pen Y Cae , Ruabon, Denbigh ,Gwynedd


The village was part of the ancient parish of Ruabon and the district was known as Dynhinlle Uchaf (but also known as Y Dref Fechan or Cristionydd Fechan).
