I've always liked Paul, although he does sometimes seem to have a bit of a chip on his shoulder about not being an Oxbridge man when comedy is almost all Oxbridge men (and women). He's mellowed in his older age I think but I will never forgive him for his treatment of his first wife, the lovely Caroline Quentin. I said to my husband that I expected they'd find IRA, they nearly always do when the subject has Irish ancestry.
