There is a Luke Healey baptised 6 Jul 1766 St Saviour Southwark, London / Surrey, son of Hugh Healey, on FamilySearch, who may or may not be the same person as my Luke. Update 2022 - the image for this seems to be missing from Ancestry.

Found I had put these possible children on an old thread:

Rebecca Healy married William Wright 30 Jul 1828 St Thomas Mount, Madras, one of their children was named Luke Healey Wright. Rebecca Wright died 18 Feb 1869, buried 19 Feb 1869 Madras, age 55.
And other Healeys who died in Madras and may or may not be Luke's:
Patrick died 1866 age 60, Lawrence died 1821 age 23, Edward died 1830 age 26, William died 1834 age 34, Mark died 1831 age 23, James died 1879 age 70.

I had deleted this thread because I thought it was the wrong family, but have just seen a DNA match which confirms it is the right one!

I thought FMP announced some time ago that they would be stopping people from looking at previously-viewed images after their subscriptions expired, but glad to say it still lets me view Luke's will! I shall make sure to save the images. He leaves everything to Lucy and then to their children, but doesn't mention any of the children by name.

Looking at the British India Office probate records on FMP at the library, I came across the inventory for the estate of Luke Haley alias Healy - signed off on the 2nd Feb 1860! 44 years after Luke's death, and more than 10 years after Lucy's death. William Wright's name comes up quite a lot, and there is also mention of Mrs Murray (my 4xg-grandmother).

Madras Courier 9 Jan 1816
MADRAS DEATHS
On the 2d instant, at St. Thomas's Mount, Mr. Luke Healy, Conductor of Ordnance on this Establishment, aged 45 years, after a lingering and painful illness of six months which he bore with fortitude and resignation, leaving a Wife and seven Children to lament his loss. In his private life he was justly esteemed, and his memory will be long cherished by a numerous circle of friends and acquaintances as a worthy honest man. In his family he was an excellent Husband and Father. The loss of two of his Children, a short time previous to his death afflicted him very much, but God has called him hence, to meet them in another and a better world, we hope and trust to receive the reward of a well spent life, from the hands of a beneficent Creator.

I only know of 7 children altogether, and one of those definitely died soon before Luke, so there must be at least 2 more. I have a list of five possibles (post #3, excluding Mark who is definitely one of Lukes's), whose burials I have found (all after Luke) but nothing about their parents.
