Elizabeth Brown

Daughter of William Brown & Elizabeth nee Bullock.

Born c 1844. Birth not recorded in Civil Registration. It may have been in Edgefield, Norfolk or possibly in Gimmingham Workhouse, where the family were in 1841.

Married Edmund Albert Skillings.

Had two daughters: Eliza Elizabeth & Leah. Both born in Edgefield.

Moved to Dragaway - a name for a couple of cottages in Smokers Hole, off the Blakeney Road in Letheringsett.

Outlived her husband, ending her days in a tiny cottage in the Blakeney Road in 1917.

She is on all the censuses 1851 - 1911 and in the Valuation Act Books.

No will, or MI, but I do have a memorial card.
