Default Kent Electoral Registers 1570-1907 - findmypast

I assume the early years are poll books.

I'm sure I have seen these before.

The last child of my 3x-great-grandfather Daniel Jeffcoat was baptised in 1828 at Greenford, where the family had moved from Upper Winchendon near Aylesbury.

The family turned up at Islington in the 1841 Census and lived there for several years.

Subsequently, we discovered that Daniel and his family moved to Chislehurst, Kent, just up the road from where my daughter lives.
Daniel appears here for the years 1833 to 1840 inclusive. They must have moved to Islington in 1840 or 1841. He was then described as a farmer or guano merchant!

The estate where he lived is open to the public a year and my daughter has visited several times and told them of her association.
