Mathew Danson
I am trying to find the father of Mathew Danson born 1773 in Scholes Wigan Lancashire, Married Helen Aspinall in June 1793. Have tried various searches but have had no luck any help would be much appreciated.

The only one I could find was this (on the Lancs OPC website):

The child whose baptism I found was buried aged 10.
Burial: 4 Jul 1796 All Saints, Wigan, Lancashire, England Matthew Danson - Son of Roger Danson Age: 10 Abode: Scoles Occupation: Carpenter Cause of Death: Weakness Register: Burials 1779 - 1809, Page 246, Entry 9 Source: LDS Film 1885700 If your man married in 1793 he might have been born before 1773. |

Is he the one who was buried 6 Jun 1841 in Wigan, age 68, abode Scholes? If so then how do you know his birthplace, please?

There is a will of a Thomas Danson, for which the exectutors are Thomas and Matthew Danson, power reserved to John Danson, another executor:
