Default Joseph Pilsworth Burnip (FMMFF)

Name - "official" name and what they were known as
Joseph Pilsworth Burnip

Date and place of birth
5 July 1809 at Westminster, Middlesex.

Names of parents
John Burnip and Elizabeth Pilsworth who married at Sutton in Holderness, Yorkshire in 1799 (near Hull where Joseph lived 1841)

Date and place of baptism - if applicable.
St Margaret, Westminster 8th Aug 1809 son of John & Elizabeth (no other detals other than his birth date given

May have had a brother, James b c1803 Winchester who witnessed Joseph's marriage and also gave his sons the middle name of Pilsworth. Hampshire Record office searched by another family researcher in vain, not a Burnip in sight

3rd November 1835 at Althorp, Lincolnshire to Mary Watkin

Occupation(s) - if any
1841: Grocer at Sculcoates, Hull
1851: Draper at Epworth
1861: Ag lab at Epworth
1871: Accountant, Epworth
1881: Farmer of 4 acres and vestry clerk, Epworth
1888: Yeoman (described as such in his will)

found under various mistranscriptions
1841: Worship Street, Hull
1851-1881 High Street, Epworth
1888 Doncaster

21 Sep 1889 22 Dockin Hill Road, Doncaster

Date and place of burial.
23 Sep 1889, St Andrew, Epworth

Details of will / administration of their estate - if applicable
Entire estate about £50 shared between two of his daughters (will look up who exactly)
He left £25 8s 7d, domestic articles to go to daughter Sarah Hudson with whom he lived, remaining estate to be divided between daus Sarah Hudson
& Mary Lindley. winesses R Wilson March [also the exor, a solicitors clerk] and Joseph Hudson [grandson]

I now have a DNA link with another of Joseph's descendants via his daughter Sarah Hudson.
