Service Announcement

The online certificate ordering service is currently unavailable
whilst we perform scheduled maintenance -
If you need to place an urgent certificate order
please contact us on +44 (0)300 123 1837
(8am to 8pm Monday to Friday. Saturday 9am to 4pm),
otherwise we would ask for your patience until the service is restored.

Scheduled?

I don't recall any warning, and nor are they stating when it will be restored

I've obviously been concentrating too much on the actual images. In a mad rush to find things out, I have about fifteen tabs open, and can't decide which I have saved. Until the service is back up and running, I have no idea whether the links will be restored, or if I have to go back to square one.

I've waited 2 weeks to sort out my Margaret Crotcher/Campbell/Cooper saga (see my thread) by waiting for the marriage certificate which I think shows them marrying almost 30 years after having 15 kids & of course I need to check 2 of the births online to see if this is definitely the same couple & of course I can't If you are very bored whilst waiting you could have a look lol

Joanie, do you want any FMP BMD lookups? mmn isn't complete but it's pretty good.

Thanks Merry but I am waiting to get on the GRO to order 2 digital births certs, I know the names but they are showing 2 kids with Campbell or Crotcher as MMN, I want to get them to see if this is the same Geo W Cooper dob 1842 with Margaret Campbell/Crotcher dob 1848 as the parents by checking the address is the same. If you are offering to help I wonder if you can check that there is no other couple matching this pair on FMP in case there are 2 with the same names that would be great thanks Can you post any reply on my thread? That way we can keep all the confusion together lol

Ok, what am I looking for? Cooper/Crotcher births after the marriage cert you got, because if the marriage is your couple there shouldn't be any? Pretty sure I've already done that, but will check again now.

Hooray!

Note to self, the links were still in place. Except for the one where the image didn't match the reference. They've given me my money back and snapped the link. I do wonder whether that link is permanently snapped?
