That's odd. I checked no new posts before I typed my last one, and yet you have posted again and it's a few minutes before mine..... curious!

I've just noticed something quite strange with the dates, now looking much more closely at the certificates. It's quite complicated as it seems Emily told a lot of fibs! I'll try and explain:

My grandmother, Alicia Jane Pannell (Emily's daughter) had an illegitimate child Ivy Lilian 8th Dec 1901.
Ivy is on the 1911 census living with Emily
Ivy died on 1 July 1918 aged 16 in Bath. Emily registered Ivy's death as Ivy's mother & Emily used the name Emily Pannell. But Emily had married William Tillett Thomas before this in 1915

Emily's dau Edith Pannell b 1896 was living at Rushall Wilts (Pewsey district) in 1921 along with her married sister in the same household. There is also this Emily, also in Pewsey district:

Emily
Thomas
1856
Brighton, Sussex, England
Manningford Bruce
Pewsey
Wiltshire

Manningford Bruce is 2 miles from Rushall. This Emily is married but is a servant in a household so not with her husband.

Yes Merry, Rushall, Wiltshire is where my mother was born & where Alicia lived after her marriage to Robert Gilbert Davis ( my grandfather). I have cousins still in the area.

Yes, on FMP.

That Emily (aged 65 b Brighton) is a servant to Rev Reginald Coles and his wife and they all live at The Rectory, Manningford Bruce, Wiltshire.
