Date and place of baptism - 2 Jul 1814 Kinfauns, Perth

Details of each of his or her marriages - 10 Dec 1841 Kinfauns, Perth to Elspeth Christie (1812-1849) with two daughters and a son

Occupation(s) - day labourer 1841

Addresses where they lived (including county if in UK) -
1849/51 Bonhard, Scone, Perth - haven't found him afterwards

Thank you to whoever split the thread into two :-)

I've found a bit more out about John. He married an English born woman Sarah Robertson in Scone in 1851 and thereafter lived in Perth where he was generally a carter and specifically a coal carter. He and Sarah - whose age varies greatly on the transcriptions of census - had several children and he died in July 1883 following a fall from his cart and a long term heart problem. Sarah survived until 1916. I was thrown by his age being eight years out on the death certificate and the name also being recorded as Thomas.
