Default For those who have paid for 1939 register pages

Please could you examine any pages you have purchased, looking for open records for people born after 1915? If you find any, please could you post here anything you think looks like a Death Code. A fmp admin person describes the death codes as "Death (D) codes" which suggests to me they would start with a D, but I don't have enough info to be sure. The three pages I've bought only have three people showing born after 1915 and for those three there's no common theme for additional bits of information added after 1939.

OK forget this thread! I've just found this post on Rootschat:

Quote:
The notifications of death 'D-codes' were noted in the part of the register we don't get to see - the right-hand page which has confidential medical information that can't be revealed. However, the D-code information was made available to FindMyPast, so that they could unlock the records that had been so annotated up to 1991.
So the death code cannot be seen by us when we purchase a page.

Merry I think the D code was added to the right hand side page, it's only the first column of that page that we have access to.
