Hi Julie, this is a definition of a millwright. He was also called an engineer at one stage.

I have also found the baptisms of the children of Samuel Alexander, this Samuel's grandson, and the brother of my great-grandfather. There were two additional children, Winifred and Ethel, who I hadn't got as they both died shortly after birth.
