Janet Morris, widow of a tailor, died on 23 February 1858 at the age of 78, at Dubbyside*, Markinch parish, Fife. Cause of death was 'debility, many years'. The informant was a Mr Thomson. She was buried in the burial ground at Methillhill.

* Her daughter Christina lived in Dubbyside at this time.
