Gloucestershire Prison Records 1791-1914

Gloucestershire Land Tax Records 1713-1833

Gloucestershire Electoral Registers 1832-1974

I can't get the prison records to give me results for my people.

It doesn't include the Bristol area; could that be why, Kit?

ah, no. One was transported to Australia, so not well behaved.

Still no Bristol and Westbury images.

Bristol isn't included in Gloucestershire Archives, James, as they have their own. But there are Westbury images in some of the databases.

I did see a few, yeah, but I thought it may have been Westbury-on-Severn.

Westbury-on-Severn registers are deposited at Gloucester. Holy Trinity Westbury-on-Trym registers are deposited at Bristol and like the Bristol registers are not included in Ancestry's agreement with Gloucestershire Archives.
