Default Emigration records

This is new territory for me and I would be grateful for any help.

I know that William Grimshaw and his new wife Margaret went to the USA after May 1841 but before 1843. They returned at some point before 1847. I am wondering if they took anyone else with them (Grimshaws or Stewarts).

I think they left from Liverpool although they were from the Isle of Man..Are there any records of passengers as early as the 1840s please?
