Default Elizabeth Manning (FFFFMM)

Name - "official" name and what they were known as: Elizabeth Manning

Date and place of birth: Approx 1828c, Unknown Birthplace at Present. Most census states Boston, Lincs; though one does say Cambridgeshire and a place that looks like Doythorpe (1861).

Names of parents: John Manning & ? (Ancestry trees do have mother as Martha Pooles and there is a marriage of John to Martha at Boston, Lincs in 1818. This Martha died in Boston in 1831 so likely that Martha is Elizabeth's mother)

Date and place of baptism: Unknown

Details of each of his or her marriages: 14th September 1848 at St Botolph, Boston, Lincs, to Charles Jasper Norman. Father was named as John Manning.

Occupation(s): None

Addresses where they lived (including county if in UK) - and please list which censuses you have or haven't found him/her on (if s/he lived in census times!):
1841: The likely census I found was Betsey Manning aged 12 in Boston, Lincs, with a father named John Manning who was now married to a lady called Sarah.

1851: Witham Green, Boston, Lincs.
1861: Boston, Lincs.
1871: 22 Caroline Street, Boston.
1881: 27 Bridge Street, Wincobank, Sheffield.
1891: 27 Cromer Street, Wincobank, Sheffield.
1901: 27 Cromer Street, Wincobank, Sheffield.

Date, place and cause of death: Dec Q 1904, Sheffield, 9c, 340 - Aged 75

Date and place of burial: 21st December 1904 at Burngreave Cemetery. Aged 75, Wife of C.Norman. Record states that Elizabeth died at 3ct Mount Road (son Frederick is at this address on the 1911 census).

Details of will / administration of their estate: None

Memorial inscription: Unknown

Daughter Martha Norman: http://www.genealogistsforum.co.uk/f...=martha+norman

I think it says Dogsthorpe, which is an area of Peterborough.

Thank you Kite, I struggled to read the letter that looked like a Y as it had the mark over it. I am not familiar with this area of the country and I havnt really looked at the Manning line much.
