Default William Trusler

William Trusler. Born c 1800, possibly son of William. Probably a nonconformist family in Salisbury, Wiltshire. (An online tree shows him as the son of John & Betty, but I don't think that is correct.)

Married Maria Sworn 23 July 1820 St Edmunds, Salisbury

Lived in Salisbury 1841,1851,1861, 1871. Usually recorded as a labourer, sometimes a coal dealer.

Died 11pm 20 January 1873 at Gigant Street Salisbury. A doctor was called out, but William was dead when he arrived. there was an inquest the following day, when a verdict of natural causes was recorded.

In his will, William left a shilling a week to his widow, and money for his grandson to buy mourning clothes.

He was buried in London Road Cemetery aged 73 and his wife was subsequently buried in the same plot.
