It's possible that the OPR images for Joseph and Jean's marriage and for their children's baptisms might give you more information, such as Joseph's occupation, possibly names of relatives.

Yes I probably should buy some more credits - I've sort of been waiting until they have another free offer. I've got lots of census transcriptions but not many OPRs. I don't remember if OPRs have occupation as early as the 1790s though. Diane Last edited by marquette; 26-01-12 at 09:56. |

It just depends on the particular parish, Diane, some do have lots of info and some don't.
