Ancestry trees question
If I sign out of Ancestry and then do a search for individuals on my public tree, my tree doesn't show up in the results. Any idea why not?

Have you attached any records to it yet, Merry?

I thought OH had done that, though I'd forgotten it could be a reason. I thought adding some sources made the whole tree available, but is it just the people with sources?

I think it might be just the people with sources. Also, it seems to be better at finding public trees if you use the main search rather than just searching public trees. Then it should show one of the public trees at the top of the search results and there is a link to click "See more like this" which then gives you the list of matching trees.

I need to wait for him to be at home so he can tell me who he added sources to! Will check this out later on. Thanks.

If you want to PM me the ancestry username I could try to see if I can view the tree, Merry.
