thanks Merry - so Ivor was born 5 th July 1908 and Mamie was b jan/feb/mar 1992 ...so she was pregnant at 15 - probably not unusual in those days ...just more info for my friend ...cheers

But this doesn't explain what EASy actually stands for and of course it is pointless googling it.

Her birth was registered in the 1st Q of 1892, but she was born on 20 November 1891 and baptised Bootle St Leonard on 27 December 1891. Father, George, boiler maker of 41 Scott Street; mother, Margaret.

Don't worry Shona I sent my Christmas letter out - reflecting on the year gone by .. and called it 2014 .. (The embarrassment is that no one has commented lol) .. Cheers Julie

HI guys I am related to Mamie Kirk she would have been my great Aunt, George Kirk her brother was my Grandfather , any Kirks still around Liverpool?
