Thanks.
I think I've got a couple more pieces of the puzzle now but the two nearest local history libraries/archives are both closed, one for a dangerous building and one due to flooding. Just about my luck recently, my sister has found some old letters but she's not very well and I've been diagnosed with life limiting health issues, we need the records to be locked away like a hole in the head right now.
