Cool Death/burial

Hello, new to this site. I am looking for the death/ burial of an ancestor Edward Green born 1744 in Barnard castle, lived in another county for many years but believed to have returned to Barnard castle to die. this was in 1797. sy help locating it much appreciated. thankyou

Hi Magghie May, Welcome to the forum!

Ancestry has transcriptions of Barnard Castle burials. There are roughly 850 in the ten years 1797+/-5. However none for an Edward Green.

Where did he live when he wasn't in Co Durham?

Edward Green of Weston Rhynn in the county of Salop, paper manufacturer. Signed 21 Aug 1796 and proved 2 Nov 1797. It mentions his daughter Tamar Duckett. Unfortunately it doesn't say where he wanted to be buried.

There is some information on here which says he died 7 Sep 1797 at Weston Rhyn but not buried there:
