I can't say I ever see the home page. I have the main search page bookmarked:
https://www.familysearch.org/search/ and from there I can either search or go to the Catalog or whatever.

I've tried using the FS site again recently but don't find it useful at all. Some of the entries that I was sure used to be there are difficult to find these days (and I don't mean IGI) and as OC says, there are endless repetitions. I also don't see the new page, even when logged in.
