Missing relatives.
I have found a marriage for my grandmother's brother Frank Blacker born 1876 Paulton Somerset to Alberta Carter born 1878 Paulton in 1899 Holy Trinity Paulton. I have a likely death for Frank in 1926 Midsummer Norton but I can't find any trace of them after 1899. Frank is with the rest of the family parents Robert and Ann Blacker in 1881 and 1891 and he was a coalminer. I would appreciate a fresh pair of eyes please. I should add this is Somerset.

There is an Alberta Blacker death Oct-Dec 1942 age 63, Norton district - Ancestry says it is Yorkshire but going by the volume number it looks to be down South?

There's a possible WW1 medal index card for Frank - Private in the North Somerset Yeomanry, numbers 1495 and 165592. Can't see any service papers for him on ancestry, though.

Try as I might, I can't find them in 1901 or 1911.

Could he be a sailor? Just a thought. Kite found one of mine as one.

I have just found the full parish record for this Frank gives his abode as Haggs Stirlingshire - so that is where they were hiding.

Miners were quite mobile, even as recently as the 1970s.
