Indexed 1920 Electoral Registers - findmypast
Unlike most of the electoral registers on FMP which have been indexed using OCR and don't distinguish between people's names and addresses, so can be time-consuming to search, their 1920 Electoral Registers database has been indexed separately and can be searched by "name, year, constituency, polling district and keyword." (Not sure what the point would be of searching by year!)
https://search.findmypast.co.uk/sear...registers-1920 As they say it was "created from out [sic] exclusive collection of England & Wales electoral records", I guess it is not complete. But at least if you do find the person you're looking for, it is a lot quicker than searching their main electoral roll database. |

I've spent quite some time searching on it today. Lovely to get addresses for family and see if they have moved house between the 1911 census and 1939 register.

The first one I looked at was mistranscribed:
https://search.findmypast.co.uk/reco...E8F4EBFF30815D It should be Hammersmith and not Hastings! |

Some of the transcriptions are absolute rubbish.
A totally random one: https://search.findmypast.co.uk/Reco...4a84f3d9220eed The man in question is actually Thomas Thirlwall Armstrong. |

This has now been extended to cover 1920-1932.

The description of the record set says
This is an ongoing project. The record set currently holds records for 1920, 1926-1931, and a smaller number of records for 1932.

Could it be that they have corrected it since it was posted on here?

I don't know where to look for a correction on FMP
