Are there too many M's in your title, Jay? Shouldn't it be FFMFF?

So, was Elizabeth Hall unmarried or married/widowed/deserted?

Oops sorry yeah it should be FFMFF, 7.30 early for me lol

She was unmarried at the time of George's birth Merry. Elizabeth was 19 when George was born.

She went onto marry George Grieves/Greaves (1870), John Lambert (1885) & Joseph Ward (1902).

Can a mod remove an M, I thought i'd done it but it hasn't worked.

Have you seen George Hall's baptism entry? (Is Reeth in Yorks?)

Obviously I got up far to early! Sorry Merry yes Reeth is in Yorkshire.

I haven't managed to find George's baptism. He's not at Grinton's CofE (Reeth has no church), i've checked some of the Methodist in the surrounding area & not spotted him either. Elizabeth's children with her husbands were baptised in Methodist churches so it's possible George was or wasn't baptised.
