Son Henry is 7 on that 1841 and 17 on the 1851 you have.

Is this him in 1861? He could have remarried. RG9; Piece: 1219; Folio: 40; Page: 4 (sawyer - timber merchant?)

Wow Margaret, many thanks

I will look further into that remarriage and deaths. He gives place of birth as Hempnall in 1861, which is what I had down as a possible (couldn't find a Hanwell in Norfolk, as per 1851)

I'd been looking at this for a few years now, not finding anything, really chuffed

I haven't managed to find him or Rachel in 1871, they could be mistranscribed though.

Scrub those deaths, just found him in 1871 with Rachel
