Hope some of this is useful to you Kat. It's rather disjointed but it's not my research so I don't have any details to hand. Well the bit that is mine is the apprentice info. & deducing the relationship between DURRANT, DAWES & ALPS.

Daniel in turn had an apprentice Joseph RUDLAND in 1742.

Sorry for late reply again, have been to Norfolk for a few days.
