Occupation(s) - if any 1828/1829 Pigot's Directory - Silk hosiery manufacturer, maltster Addresses where they lived (including county if in UK) - and please list which censuses you have or haven't found him/her on (if s/he lived in census times!). 1828/29 - 14 Queen St, Derby 1835 Pigot's - 14 Queen St and St Michaels Lane Date, place and cause of death not known, but before 1841 as not in census. The Late Joseph Moorley's Affairs All persons indebted to the late JOSEPH MOORLEY, Maltster, of Derby at the time of his decease, are requested immediately to pay the amount of their respective debts unto Mr THOS. COOPER, Builder, Derby, one of the Executors. And all persons having any claim against the estate of the said late Joseph Moorely. are desired to forward the particulars of the same unto Mr Cooper forthwith. Derby, 26th June 1837.

Derby Mercury May 29th 1839 Pursuant to a Decree of Her Majesty's Court of Exchequer at Westminster, made in a cause of PARKER v MOORLEY, and PARKER v PEET & COOPER, the Creditors of JOSEPH MOORLEY late of Derby, in the County of Derby, Hosier (who died in the month of March 1837) are by their Solicitors to come in and prove their debts before Richard Richards Esq one of the Masters of the said Court, at his chambers in Tanfield Court, in the Inner Temple, London or in default thereof they will be excluded the benefit of the said Decree. |
