Default This could cause confusion!

I have been researching the early Hydes living in the parish of Mottram-in-Longdendale, Cheshire.

I was doing so well, then I discovered (from FMP) that some of the children were being buried on the day of their baptism.

After a while it dawned on me that the images shown for the burials in the parish are actually the baptisms! I have got to e-mail FMP to point this out. They should withdraw the whole set of burials until they have estabilished they have it right!

Well spotted, Elizabeth. I have come across that kind of thing on ancestry before but not on FMP. I doubt that they will withdraw them though.

Thanks Elizabeth, I cannot find many baptisms for mine in Suffolk. I think I'll check the FMP burials out and see what I can find

That's probably just because the Suffolk records aren't online, though, Katarzyna.

Yes of course you are right KR. I forgot - only the parish registers for Marriage and Baps are on there. FS has some but never for the villages I need
