Default Edward Dow (FMFMF)

Name - Edward Dow
Date and place of birth - Newmarket, 1767
Names of parents - Elizabeth Dow, probably illegitimate
Date and place of baptism - 27 Oct 1767, St Mary, Newmarket, Suffolk
Details of each of his or her marriages - Elizabeth Horrigan (widow, maiden name Alders) 26 Jan 1805, St Dunstan's, Stepney, Middlesex
Occupation(s) - Shoemaker and mariner for 9years
Addresses where they lived (including county if in UK) -
1806 - 1819 Essex St, Hoxton, Middlesex
Date, place and cause of death -10 Jul 1830, Greenwich Hospital
Date and place of burial - 13 Jul 1830, Greenwich
Details of will / administration of their estate - if applicable
Memorial inscription - if any

Found his widow's Settlement Examination in which she gives his pob, occupation date of death etc.

They were still at Essex Street in 1820 when their daughter Sarah was baptised.

Thanks Kite. That's what I should have put of course, but I put Sarah's year of birth rather than her baptism........

I have trawled through Essex St to check if they were mistranscribed but I can't find them anywhere. Sarah, although not married was living with her future husband and Edward jnr was also married by then. No sign of other daughter Elizabeth though. I have found a two yr old Edward, son of a Thomas Dow, shoemaker in Shoreditch in 1841 but I can't find a link!!

There is a possible burial for Edward's wife in the ancestry LMA records -Elizabeth Dow of Kingsland Road buried 13 Jun 1832 Hoxton St John, age 56, but I can't see one for Edward.
