It's quite a coincidence, Mary, because on the NBI there is a burial for a
Matilda Mallet,
14 Jan 1910
age over 91
St Michael and All Saints
Berechurch Essex

It obviously isn't your lady, but what a coincidence.

That is odd, as it's quite an unusual name, but I've done an enormous amount of research into the Mallets, and I don't think the Essex lady is related to any of mine. So far as I know, none of them have any connection with Essex; they were all in the Midlands.
