Rose, there are three Ann Bacon deaths in Oct-Dec 1890 - one age 73 in York (the one on the National Probate Calendar), one age 91 in Sleaford, and one age 67 in Birmingham.

Also, the Ann Bacon who is a house servant at the Red Lion in Caythorpe in 1861 is supposed to be unmarried.

But I think the Ann Bacon who died in Sleaford district in 1890 must be that other Ann Bacon, the one who was born in Sleaford and married to George, and living in Quarrington in 1871 and 1881 (Quarrington was in Sleaford district). Findmypast has her burial in Quarrington.

There is an Annie Bacon death in Sleaford district Oct-Dec 1862 before they added age at death to the index.

oh! I know how I got it wrong, I'd searched for deaths in Lincolshire.

I saw that 'Annie' and wondered if that might me her.

Thanks for pointing out the unmarried status in 1861; hadn't noticed that.
