There's a possible registration on FreeBMD for his younger sister Hannah - Mar 1849 Bromyard vol 26 p 168. And a possible for his older sister Ann who is 10 months old on the 1841 census - Sep 1840 Bromyard, vol 26 p 140. One of these would give you their mother's maiden name - she is Mary on both censuses but I'm not certain it is the same person on both because in 1841 she is born in same county but in 1851 she is born Worcestershire Martley. But her husband is born in same county in 1841 and in 1851 is born Salop, so it is quite likely to be the same Mary on both.

Thanks Kate.
I do have other siblings for Edward, including Hannah, but I haven't got Ann. I will investigate further.

I have found a marriage for a Mary Perkins to a John Lloyd on 2 March 1836, Bromyard, Hereford (IGI extracted record) which is a possibility. There are other possibles but this one seems the most likely to me. The oldest child I have found is Joseph, born 1837.

I have another branch of my family from the same general area and most were born, married & died in the Martley reg dist but some were registered in Bromyard and the family never moved from Abberley, Worcestershire!
