Default Edward Smith

I'm not 100% sure of this one but my FMFFF was William Smith born c1787 Hook Norton, Oxfordshire. A kind researcher said that the only candidate for William was a baptism 21 Jan 1787 at Hook Norton, son of Edward and Ann -

if so, my FMFFFF is Edward Smith who married 17th Oct 1779 Hook Norton, Oxon, Ann Randal - two sons baptised there - John in 1781 and William in 1787. Edward was buried at Hook Norton in 1797.

There is an Oxfordshire Wills Index on British Origins, but you have to be a paying member even to search it so it would be a real waste of money if you just get no matches.

Thanks - I have a feeling I've searched it before - it's one of those sites I tend to buy a few days sub and sit and go through all my names:-)
