Barton, Sandford, Devon 1851 - Union Workhouse, Western Road, Crediton, Devon There is a Mary Spear listed as mother-in-law to James Lott on 1881 census, but Mary's daughter Jane never married. Date, place and cause of death - possibly AMJ qtr 1893, Crediton reg dist or that may be the Mary referred to in 1881 census.
