Val, are they the people living in Staines in 1841? There is a birth reg is Staines district - could they have got a bit fanciful about Eliza's place of birth by the following census?

If that's not them, which one is she?

ah now in 1851 she is Eliza Wallis age 10 living in Whitecross Street St Luke as her mother remarried

No, I don't really think so as I can't see a birth reg for William Wallis who was b St Lukes in 1850ish either. They may have been one of those annoying families who didn't bother.
